ED RUNYON

Ed formed Sagevest Financial Advisors in order to deliver a wealth strategy service that manages the financial complexities in his clients’ lives. He works with a limited number of families as a fiduciary advisor and acts to coordinate and implement a plan to enhance wealth, minimize taxes and protect assets.
Ed holds a BA in business from San Diego State University with an emphasis in Accounting and Finance.
Ed began his financial career as an accounting professional with the CPA firm Arthur Andersen in Newport Beach. Prior to the formation of Sagevest Financial Advisors, LLC in 2012, Mr. Runyon was a co-founder of Waypoint Wealth Partners, LLC, where he worked since 2004. Prior to that, he worked with both Merrill Lynch and Fidelity Investments, advising clients on their financial planning and investment needs.
Ed was named a “Five Star Wealth Manager” as published in Orange Coast Magazine. This honor is based, in part, on feedback provided by his clients.
Ed is a native of Southern California currently residing in Orange County with his wife, Lisa. Ed & Lisa have two children who have both recently graduated college and begun their careers. Ed enjoys traveling with his family, golf, spear fishing, rock climbing and mountain biking.
STEPHANIE PLATT
Client Service Manager

Stephanie is responsible for various administrative duties including processing client service requests and handling back office operations.
Stephanie began her career in Financial Services in 1992 with Prudential Insurance. She graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Economics. Shortly after graduation, she accepted a position at Dean Witter Reynolds, assisting several top financial advisors with sales and marketing. In spring of 1995, she was recruited by Vestax Corporation where she headed up their product division concentrating on Mutual Funds and Variable Annuities.
Stephanie went on to hold positions as a Regional Sales Manager of an insurance marketing organization as well as Director of Sales and Product Development for a mid-size Broker Dealer. In 2007, she decided to branch out on her own to offer administrative and operational support services to select advisor firms around the country.
Stephanie is an Ohio native and has been married to her husband, David, since 1995. They have three children, Kaelyn, Haleigh and Gabriel. She enjoys camping, gardening, quilting and reading.
